  • July Mission of the Month – 2025 Habitat Faith Build
Faith Build is a powerful opportunity to live out God’s love through service – swinging hammers, raising walls, and lifting spirits. St. Luke’s can participate through prayer, volunteer labor and financial support as we build not just a house, but hope. Let’s come together to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community. You may contribute by writing July Mission of the Month in the memo line of your check or online by selecting “July Mission of the Month – 2025 Habitat Faith Build” on the donate page of the church website.  The build started in June, and the afternoon shift (12:45  - 4:00 pm) on July 26th is still in need of volunteers. Click on the signup link to volunteer - Habitat for Humanity MCA: Faith Build 2025 to volunteer for either of these days. The address for the home for Cherry Hart and her 14-year-old son is 782 Woodbury Drive in the Broadmoor neighborhood.

  • Proverbs 22:9 (NRSV)

Those who are generous are blessed,

for they share their bread with the poor.

St. Luke’s provides snack bags for the homeless during office hours, Monday – Friday. Many times each week, we answer the door to someone who is in need of something to eat. There is a small group of people within the church who help us keep the supplies ready to use but we often run low. Please consider dropping off any of the items listed below. There is a basket located in the Gathering area and you can drop off on Sunday mornings or anytime that is convenient for you.  Thank you.
